She entered Bold At 319 expecting to learn digital marketing, but left with something deeper: clarity about herself, confidence in working with people, and a stronger sense of purpose and community.

A chance encounter with Bold’s 319 space became the start of a very different life journey — one shaped by courage, curiosity, reinvention, and learning to give impossible dreams room to breathe.

Bold At 319 gave her space to experiment, prototype ideas, and rethink what working with children could look like. It shaped her confidence, career direction, and relationship with failure and learning.

Bold At 319 became a space where she learnt to practise courage, explore identity, and grow through community. Over nine years, it shaped her healing work, relationships, and sense of purpose.

In this space, I get to pivot from design into facilitation, programme design, and community work. Bold has taught me to ask boldly, collaborate meaningfully, and see how good work connects people together.

It is in this space I get to grow creatively and personally through community, girlhood, and experimentation. From Parking Day to JuraSEEK, the experiences shaped my work ethic, confidence, friendships, and love for writing.

Returning to Bold years later made me realise how rare spaces for experimentation, creativity, and youth growth are in Singapore, and how meaningful it is to now hold that space for others.
