Bold is about the people
An interview with Huey Yin an ex-intern, co-creator PLUS many other multi-faceted labels
1. What first brought you through the doors? What were you looking for at that point in your life?
I wanted to explore what “good work” and “positive impact”looks like for me, beyond the. Going into an unfamiliar space alone is damn scary plz.
2. What happened when you were here? Share one specific moment, conversation, or experience that stayed with you.
During COVID, rules constantly shifted and plans had to be changed. We had a meeting at a cafe (iirc Lucid, which has unfortunately closed) after yet another new restriction. I remember entering the meeting demoralised but somewhere somehow, we exchanged thoughts, bounced ideas… and I left the meeting energised and hopeful to what we can still create within the restrictions.
3. What did you take with you after leaving?
Experiment experiment experiment. Really that life/work is just a series of a little experiments, things working out and not working out, and lotsa figuring it out.
4. Where are you now, and how is that connected (if at all)?
Still experimenting a lot in life/work! Re: Q3
5. If the space did not exist, what would have been different?
Trust in myself to explore, experiment and create! A lot more hesitation and self doubts.
